Connect via Remote Console
The Remote Console is used to connect to a server when, for example, SSH is not available. You must have the root or administrator password for this type of log-in to the server.
Procedure
1. In the DCD, go to Menu > Virtual Data Centers. 2. Open the Remote Console from the list of your Virtual Data Centers or from the Workspace.
1. Select Virtual Data Centers in the left navigation menu. A list of data centers is displayed.
2. Click the arrow beside the respective data center's Name to view the associated list of servers.
3. Select
icon for more options.
4. Select Open remote console.

1. Select Virtual Data Centers in the left navigation menu.
2. Select the name of the respective data center containing the required server.
3. In the Workspace, select the server.
4. Right-click on the server to choose Console from the context menu or select Console in the Inspector pane.

Result: Remote Console version matching your browser opens; you can now log in to the server with root or administrator password.
