# Limitations

The following are the limitations of the <code class="expression">space.vars.ionos\_cloud</code> Private Container Registry:

* **Platform-managed encryption:** You cannot provide your own encryption keys (Trust-No-One) for data at rest; all keys are managed automatically by the Private Container Registry platform.
* **Repository access permissions:** It is impossible to grant repository access permissions to push, pull, or delete from a specific repository.
* **Mandatory authentication:** Valid authentication and authorization are always required. Private Container Registries cannot be configured for unauthenticated access, and unauthenticated users cannot access Private Container Registry contents.
