1. In the DCD, go to Menu > Virtual Data Centers.
2. Select the data center where the LANs must be merged.
3. In the Workspace, right-click on the LAN that you want to merge.
4. Select Merge LAN with another LAN.
5. In the dialog that appears, select the LANs to be merged with the selected LAN and choose Keep (LAN name).
6. Select Keep other LAN (which upon selection dynamically changes to Keep (LAN name)) to keep the specific LANs separate.
7. Select Merge LANs.
8. (Optional) Make further changes to your data center.
9. Provision your changes.
Result: The selected LANs are merged and the new IP addresses are assigned to the NICs in the newly integrated LAN.
Important: A private LAN that is integrated into a public LAN also becomes a public LAN.
