# Activate User

Complete the activation process as a newly created user in the Partner Portal to gain access to your account.

The account owner of a <code class="expression">space.vars.ionos\_cloud</code> account can create additional users in their Partner Portal.

**Prerequisite:** The partner has created the user, and the user has received the email with the verification link.

## Complete activation as a user

The newly created users can complete the activation process by following these steps:

1\. In the email you receive, click on the verification link.

2\. Click **Click here** to continue.

3\. Enter a password and confirm it.

4\. Click **Back to the application**. The Partner Portal redirects you to the user login. For more information, see [<mark style="color:blue;">User Login</mark>](/cloud/partner-program/partner-portal-first-steps/user-management/user-login.md).
