Open vSphere Client

This article explains how to open vSphere Client. The vSphere Client provides a web-based user interface.

Prerequisites:

  • You have installed and configured OpenVPN.

  • You have established a VPN connection to your IONOS Private Cloud with OpenVPN.

  • You have installed a browser on your local computer.

  1. Log in to your IONOS CLOUD account.

  2. In the Data Center Designer (DCD), go to Menu > Private Cloud > Login.

  3. Log in to the Cloud Panel with your credentials.

  4. Make a note of the username and password displayed in the Private Cloud > Access > vSphere section.

  5. To open vSphere Client, click vSphere Client in the Private Cloud > Access > vSphere > Admin Client section.

  6. Click Advanced....

  7. Click Accept Risk and continue.

  8. Click START VSPHERE CLIENT (HTML5). The login page opens in a new tab.

  9. Enter the user name and password.

  10. Click Sign in.
