# Open vSphere Client

This article explains how to open vSphere Client. The vSphere Client provides a web-based user interface.

**Prerequisites:**

* You have installed and configured OpenVPN.
* You have established a VPN connection to your IONOS Private Cloud with OpenVPN.
* You have installed a browser on your local computer.

1. Log in to your [<mark style="color:blue;">IONOS CLOUD account</mark>](https://dcd.ionos.com).
2. In the [<mark style="color:blue;">**Data Center Designer (DCD)**</mark>](https://docs.ionos.com/cloud/support/general-information/glossary-of-terms#data-center-designer-dcd), go to **Menu** > **Private Cloud** > **Login**.
3. Log in to the [<mark style="color:blue;">Cloud Panel</mark>](https://cloudpanel.ionos.de/login) with your credentials.
4. Make a note of the username and password displayed in the **Private Cloud** > **Access** > **vSphere** section.
5. To open vSphere Client, click vSphere Client in the **Private Cloud** > **Access** > **vSphere** > **Admin Client** section.
6. Click **Advanced...**.
7. Click **Accept Risk and continue**.
8. Click **START VSPHERE CLIENT (HTML5)**. The login page opens in a new tab.
9. Enter the user name and password.
10. Click **Sign in**.
