# Establish a VPN Connection to the Private Cloud (Linux)

This topic explains how to connect to your Private Cloud using OpenVPN.

To establish a VPN connection to the private cloud, enter the following command:

```bash
[root@localhost ~]# openvpn /etc/openvpn/<vpnID>.ovpn
```

## Example

```bash
[root@localhost ~]# openvpn /etc/openvpn/vpn_qvtqf_1.ovpn
```

After entering the command, the connection to your Private Cloud is established. You can now open the vSphere Client or the VMware NSX-T™ Data Center.
