# Delete a MariaDB Cluster

To delete a MariaDB cluster, follow these steps:

1\. In the **DCD**, go to **Menu** > **Databases** > **MariaDB**.

A list of all MariaDB clusters is displayed.

2\. Click ![](https://1737632334-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MifAzdGvKLDTtvJP8sm%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-0820a9f96e75bb8fa664037bb8f38d7d825394d7%2Fthree-dots.png?alt=media) in the **OPTIONS** column and select **Delete**.

Alternatively, you can also choose a MariaDB cluster by clicking on its name and in the **Details** window, select **x Delete cluster**.

3\. Select **Delete** in the dialog box to confirm deletion.

**Result:** The **STATE** of the respective MariaDB cluster is set to **DESTROYING** before it is completely deleted.
